Layout constuction in progress, from 2002 to present HO scale, 11 ft wide by 30 ft long Modeling the Lehigh Valley and CNJ in Jersey City, NJ on the Hudson River waterfront in the late 1940's, early 1950's era ** This photo, taken in early 2007 shows the same area as in photo L12 after installation of foam and backdrop. The LV main and wye tracks will run thru the backdrop here, and the CNJ Jersey Ave Branch will cross the LV tracks on a set of diamonds, from upper left to lower right. The "hole in the wall" here will be disguised by the NJ Turnpike viaduct/bridge and LV National Docks bridge. Pushpins are locations of turnouts and crossing diamonds for future reference after painting.
