Fantasy MILW SD70M

Continuing down the path of what if I have here the first delivery of engines for the Milwaukee Road as if they never went away. SD70M's complete with a new image based loosely on heritage paint schemes and colors. This will eventually be an entire modern roster of equipment likely to be found on MILW if they were still here in 2007. The color application was flipped at the request of the customer who does not care for color banding and wanted a smooth transition from the dark color used on the car body to the chassis. The gray was selected instead of black as this was a seldom used color on some cowl units over 50 years ago and the combination of gray and orange lends itself to a much richer look than orange and that much black. This is fantasy so there is no right or wrong, only like it or not. I think it looks great any reality issues aside and would be spectacular at the point of a 100 car unit train.
