Excursion Steam Train, Southbound at Seattle

Taken May 19, 2007. UP Excursion Steam Train (double-header), just south of the BNSF yard, Seattle. (Already posted in my personal folder, but I see "Steam" is the obvious place to post these.) Getting closer...

Yup. I know where this was taken.

That shot, and several others, were taken on the pedestrian overpass above where the BNSF tracks parallel Elliott Avenue West. It's probably less than a quarter mile (if that) south of the Interbay Yard.

Magnolia in the background. What hasn't been sliding down hill in recent decades... Somewhere off to the right, is the Seattle's Train Center store.

Exactly, BoxcabE50! The last building (completely hidden by the steam) before the overpass (*partially* hidden by the steam) is the back side of Seattle's Train Center's building.

Haven't been there in a few years now. How are Kirk and Wanda doing?
