That's about 1000 feet of bridge, FWIW.... I just liked how the poles framed the depot steeple. ;)

      Interesting composition!

Got a shot of the depot itself?

      :D

Sadly, not yet.... I hardly remember when I'm on that side of town (with camera)... :(

I wish there were more surviving depots east of Essex. If so, with gas prices up, might still be worth a trip. But, since there are so few. I can't even think of what might still remain. What have you seen? East Glacier? Browning? Shelby... What about Conrad? Dutton? Power? Choteau? Fairfield? Anything left between GF and Laurel? Belt? Stanford? Broadview? Or?

      :(

The Cut Bank depot I think exists, but I don't recall a pic. The East Glacier lodge depot is still around, as is Belton's. I don't know where the Essex depot is--not counting the Izaak Walton Inn. The rest I have not looked for, honestly. There may be some on that line, as well as the line to Ft Benton. The Ft B, and Big Sandy depot still stands as well. I hear the Carter depot is around, too.

Last thing I knew, Box Elder was still standing. But way out in a farm field. And not looking good. Now I can't remember- Argh. Either Essex, or Summit still is around, moved.
