      Cool! Is this an ex-ACL (E3A), or ex-SAL (E4A)?

      :D

Pretty sure its an ex ACL E-6.
I think, but not positive, all 3s and 4s were scrapped or rebuilt by 1969. Sure wish I had kept better notes back then.
      Quite a station isn't it.

Yes. It's an interesting building. Got another view of it?

Hard for me to guess on that unit's heritage. I do recall that E3,4,5,6A all had the same carbody. Now I'm remembering someone had an E3(?) preserved, and operational back in the 1980's. ( Wa it Monhart?) Does this sound familiar? Painted original colors? ACL? SAL? Can't think of where to check for this info....

      :D

Yeah, it was painted ACL purple and silver, had an F unit painted to match it.
Can't find another view of the building but my slide boxes are all mixed up, may find another view yet. At the rate I'm going it will take two years to scan them all. I know I had one of the L&N E-unit sitting to the right in the picture.

Those slide boxes may be mixed up. But they sure contain some gold!
