Wow, TRRA had towers every mile or two it seemed. I don't know the name of the tower, but I'm sure someone on Trainboard does.
It was located where the line along the riverfront, leading to Merchants bridge, and the line to Mc Arthur bridge split.
In the photo we're eastbound from Union Station turning north toward Merchants Bridge.

Digging through memory of what's been told to be about TRRA locations, a few that come into mind: WR (Granite City), IL; Page Avenue Junction; Carrie Avenue; Easton Avenue... Must have been a busy operation!

      :D

      Where was Gratriot(sic) Tower?
    • BoxcabE50
If speaking one one I'd noted earlier, that would be WR Tower. the (Granite City) in parentheses is the Illinois town of it's location. I'd guess somewhere in the vicinity of East St.Louis?

      :D
