Three stories tall. That's unusual! I fear this structure will, if not already, succumb to demolition?

Nope. It says in the caption that it was destroyed by fire. I believe some "homeless" folks were living in it and accidently burned the place down. Last I saw it before it burned it was kind of leaning to one side a bit.
