Here's another "goof" engine: Guilford has/had some SP39. As there is no SD39 available in H0 scale, I decided to repaint a Kato SD38-2. Except for the trucks (which I my change in the near future), it looks not very different to the real SD39 in my eyes...

      Thanks for your comment! What about the SD45? It's still my most favorite EMD 6 axle engine.

      Within the next weeks, I'll convert a Kato PRR SD45 into Guilfords #681 with high short hood. That engine is quite impressive because of it's massive body with the high nose...

      I think it's more about the wider decks between the front and the rear of the ends to the cab body that does it for me. It's like a battleship on the rails
