BNSF SD70MAC should have been

I label this should have been instead of fantasy as it borrows elements of what is real and melds them together in my vision of the scheme I would have liked to see BNSF use. I almost wonder if they ever considered something like this or not. If not, why not? It is traditional BN colors with the ATSF stripe added, just in a color BN used to use all the time to keep it simple, and I happen to think pretty elegant. In a real world where red and orange is common place on the rails, green is not all that common so in addition to tradition, this would help their engines stand out. Not that the current Heritage III is bad or ugly. I just sort of think this being a bit less busy color wise is in fact easier on the eyes. Therefore better maybe. As always, comments welcome. Good or bad. It is just my wild world of modeling. So there is no right or wrong. You either like it or not.

      "Cool mint BNSF"

They should paint one of each of their Teir 2 locomotives in this paint sort of as a green step forward...

it would be a logical way to get back to BN green. Wouldn't it?

Looks wonderful! What did you use for the white sf stripes?
This makes me want to do traditional BN on some new power. The green cab instead of the black & green looks much better, sort of brings a newer tweek to the green, black, and white! Now to find decals and undec engines!
