Roundhouse

The turntable is from Arnold and the 16-stall enginehouse is built from four Heljan-Sets. Over the three main tracks stand the coal tower, also built from a Arnold -Set. Closed to it, are ash pit, water and the sanding facility. On the side of the engine house is the Caboose track and heavy repair shop. Further a powerhouse, wheel shop, crane and the MofW area is also a must for a engine facility. For this first diorama I used Arnold track, then Arnold had the first motorized N-Scale turntable and the blackened rail looked very fine to me. Also the turnouts with the metal frogs and the switch machine below the layout convinced me.
