Chasing 844 from Cheyenne to Lodgepole, NE

On April 2, 2010, A friend and I chased 844 from Cheyenne to Lodgepole, NE, as she left to head to southern Texas. The weather was cold & snowy for the whole trip, but it made for some beautiful photos!

Guess what, they didn't! The smoke was rolling over the side of her as she came flying by at about 50 MPH. Right after this photo, she flew by and we were both engulfed in the smoke & steam!! We were laughing out butts off at the rush from being so close to 844 at speed.
