I decided to extend the layout by 14" to give toom for a drive in and some houses (nothings screams 50's like a drive in movie!)

      Now you have to choose a a couple of movie titles that give a sense of what year it is on your layout.
      Maybe "The Day the Earth Stood Sti . . . no that won't work, how about Ben Hur . . . never mind.
