if i use the Rich Text editor, i have the function buttons, but if i use the BB Code editor, all i have is the text box.

Also, the code button (formatting for programming source code) seems to be missing, though if i manually type the code tags, it displays code properly.

Thanks in advance for your assistance. :)

Hi Travis - when using the BB code editor you're essentially in "expert mode" - so to speak - so the formatting buttons and shortcuts disappear. I'm not sure what you mean by code button missing. Are referring to a button other than the BB Code Editor button? What browser/OS are you using?

there used to be a button to put in the tags "code" and "/code" (inside square brackets), so that source code would stay formatted correctly. i know how to use the code tags, but there are others in the DCC++ forum that could benefit from there being a convenient button, or perhaps a BB code legend that could they could be directed to.

    Thanks for the reply. :)

    Just found the legend: http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?help/bb-codes

but perhaps there could be a link under the post text box. :)

AHhhh! Sorry I misunderstood what you were asking...yeah, the <code> tags, okay. I'll look into seeing if a button can be added to the tool bar for the DCC++ folks.
