Although that picture has been used as an April Fool's joke, it's not inconceivable that the railroads could be investigating the viability of drone delivery as a means to take the "last mile" portion of the business (from railhead to the customers loading dock) away from the truckers. Such a scheme might be particularly applicable to the more congested metropolitan areas.
If it works, and more operators jump in.... Eek. And if there are ever any failures, down comes what, where?
Just ordered a "Chico #37" Santa Fe business car. I didn't ever thing that would happen. I'm with SP a heavy weight smoker would be nice as well as a library and buffet car. Or did they already do that?

OR....one based on the "semi-streamlined" coaches that Bethlehem Car (Harlan & Hollinsworth) of Wilmington, Del. built for the N&W in the mid-1930's. Central of Georgia had nearly identical cars built in the same time period.
