I know that ERIE had something like what you are talking about... milk boxcars that they rebuilt to express cars. Not sure about the B&O... need to go through my diagrams to see what I can find.
Right about now I wish they'd make me a heaping bowl of French vanilla ice cream, topped with a pile of sliced, fresh picked strawberries. Oops. Wrong topic......
As long as the color was spot-on, the markings were 100% prototypical, and it had the correct number of rivets.
Sounds good here. I'll take 4 undecorated, unless you have plans for two tone Erie or L&N in the first few runs. If you let us know how many windows it will have, we can start complaining now about it being the wrong number, and probably have that part out of the way in time for the actual release.
This is great news!!! Hopefully an MTL single window coach will have 4-wheel trucks and two possible coupler bolster pin placement options - the normal one plus one that allows for closer car coupling without having to do surgery. Being a Northeaster, I can't wait for single window coaches in NYC, B&M, NH, MEC, Erie, Lackawanna, Reading, Pennsy, D&H, and many other roads. Runner packs of four coaches would be great. If the technical issues involved in this window arrangement can be conquered, then realistic baggage smoker combines can't be far behind!!!
Why do you think I said not ANOTHER crazy series... The diet series includes a train that runs on a treadmill of track. It doesn't go anywhere, it just burns calories...
I meant dessert cars. If I meant desert cars, they would have been hoppers full of sand...NOOOOO, NOT ANOTHER crazy series!
