I'm looking for anyone who would be interested in a Frisco special run and what type of railcars that you would support. Joe
I would be interested in the USRA 40' outside braced boxcar with the small herald from steam/transition days. If 3 numbers were available, I'd get 3. It has been ten years since these were released by (I think) Atlas. Too soon?
Joe, You know I'm in for anything Frisco. Three things I would like to see are: GP7 - QAP S-2 - Northeast Oklahoma Railroad SW1 #10 I realize those aren't railcars. Any railcar or runner pack is a go for me too. Charlie
I would like to see a run consist of new road numbers for Micro Trains NSC03-25 western railroad #4 five pack released in 2003 at the N Scale Collectors Convention. The other would be a pair of EV caboose with road numbers 1288 in the orange/ white paint scheme and 1291 in red paint. The caboose numbers are recommended because Paul Slavens of Frisco.org is restoring the cabooses' back to their last paint scheme before the BN merger. Joe
I hoped to do that here but the response has been limited. I DO want to thank the people who have posted their thoughts. The thread I started for HO on this topic has not even been touched one time. It proves my point, N SCALE RULES!!! Joe
If it helps the forum I would be good for a covered hopper or something along those lines that would survive and still generate revenue in modern times. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
We have five people who are in support of a Frisco runner pack, that's about 5% of the goal. When we get more suggestions for what type of rail cars I will have a poll started to narrow down the field. Please contact your friends about this thread. I would like to see anything Frisco at this time. Joe
We're up to 7% of the request required to start a special run for N scale. Please alert your contacts to this thread. We need about one hundred to make it happen. It will never happen unless we get support. Joe
BTW, why is that? If HO outpaces N in adoption and interest why is there not nearly as much participation in the HO forums as N? Surely HO'ers are as talkative as N-Scale folks. I've always wondered this since joining TB.
I have heard or read a few comments out on the 'Net, that TrainBoard is an N scale site. Not true, but many folks just believe and don't look. We're any scale, any time. So all that HO folks need to do, is just post and make it happen.
