Here's two KATO GE C44-9W BNSF SUPER DETAILED CUSTOM. It has windshield wipers, MU hoses, and a plow that are done well, but personally if you are going to call it 'super detailed' you need to replace the grab irons (and make sure the paint isn't chipping off the hand rails). Especially if you want $295 for them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-KATO-GE-C...275823?hash=item1a0ba1636f:g:QaEAAOSwGotWh3Uc http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-KATO-GE-C...302289?hash=item1a0ba1cad1:g:VYoAAOSwT~9Wh4q9
That first one, looks like the paint is rubbed off on top of it's nose. Hope they didn't actually pay that much to originally buy these.
ARGGG, 'Vintage' N scale train set, 'huge collection', 'too many items to list' (try listing SOME of the items then)...I see 1 engine, a Kato track pack (ok it's worth a fair amount), several pieces of snap track, some building kits, and a bunch of detail parts but that does not make a 'train set' and $350 seems a bit steep to me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-N-S...259315?hash=item3f544cce33:g:ra4AAOSwFnFWBbg7
How about a VINTAGE MRC transformer for $100? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-MRC...279668?hash=item3f59e77134:g:LRQAAOSwEeFU~9gQ
...or a vintage, rare Micro Trains uncoupler store display showcase (no trains) also $100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-MAG...868844?hash=item339fb67c6c:g:DPoAAOSwstxVD3TU
A vintage Bachmann 1960's childhood Union Pacific train set (no track but with the vintage transformer), $125 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bac...984527?hash=item3aba8e330f:g:0WkAAOSwHaBWiskp
Concor 'rare' 13 colonies freight car set (either unassembled or missing trucks) for $325 http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-RARE-Con-...337762?hash=item2eea4be422:g:2DEAAOSwQoFWOO3j
Finally for today, two sets of Shell Oil Advertising Miniature Collectibles...says that they are made by Atlas but I can't even tell what the engines look like. I'm not even sure that they are N scale. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Railroad-Ca...153349?hash=item43baf0d1c5:g:m5QAAOxyuOtRawIf
Some day I would like to find the BN set I had back in 1972. Absolutely complete, even with the cardboard outer sleeve. But not at that type of price!
Picture is certainly inadequate. I can't really tell what I'm looking at here. You were on another roll today. Fun seeing all this stuff......
http://www.ebay.com/itm/All-Scale-W...411477?hash=item235eaf7155:g:IrkAAOSwNyFWfPg7 Wow $97.00 for wire holders I think I will stick with wire ties.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-KATO...982310?hash=item33af654766:g:9GkAAOSwpDdVUYtY These have been for sale off and on for quite a while. At that price I imagine they will be for sale for quite a while longer
Did you happen to see a quantity being offered? I did not thoroughly study the ad, but nothing jumped out at me. At that price, there should be at least one thousand included.
I agree. It may be nicely done, but "custom" made items usually have a limited appeal. And price can further limit audience......
