    Folks over in the UK have done a wonderful job of preserving and restoring their rail heritage. Over here, well......

    I noticed that too. I'm sure the "starter" was a steam nut like thee-n-me. Otherwise if he was an employee, I'm sure he would have revolted in short order. :mad:

    Apparently Trevithick hadn't yet realized the need for quartering the drivers. Both pistons were working in parallel......oops :oops:

    I wondered about that. And also just how much power they could actually generate to overcome inertia.
