Yes. True. So-called "red light districts" were often close by to the tracks, as were saloons plus places where railroaders could eat and rest until next call. The person who'd generally come looking was the "call boy". The red was adapted quickly to mean 'here we are, open for business'.
Here's another industry I'm working on. This is RVI Fertilizers. The structure is based on the building Cody Grivno made in the 2011 MR Bay Junction series. I don't have all the piping done yet, as I'm not quite sure where it will be placed on the layout.
Looks great Paul. I actually ordered a few of the Athearn tank cars, but they're for my logging industry. I have to say that I like the switchers.
