Hi everyone! It's already October (somehow), and the leaves are turning and the weather will soon cool. Here's the selections. From r_i_straw, the BNSF constituents from Hardcoaler, some MILW locos from co_riff, a NS fuel pad from Eugen Haenseler, a BNSF GP60B from warnerj01, the Loop and from BoxcabE50, a MRL special
I hope to take a day off work sometime soon and perhaps get some fall color shots. Nothing this weekend tho -- we've had terrible flooding here in the Carolinas with a foot or more of rain falling in the last two days and more to come.
In museum settings, on tourists railroads. There are some ex-MILW units still in common carrier use, which had the so-called "bandit" paint applied, and are now peeling so much the MILW scheme is showing through. But as far as being truly un-touched I can't think of any.
OK Boxcab, thank you. But true, I first didn't spotted that pic was taken in 1987, I thought it was from this week... Dom
Can't believe I missed this. Nice shot, Ken, and nice Tehachapi Loop shot, warnerj01. Every one else did a fine job as well. Nice picks, Will.
