Seems certain folks have had that very discussion of late. AdBlockPlus and Ghostery. Almost mandatory anymore when you use the algore. I also recently loaded MalWareBytes Anti-Exploit (free), just because. Any time we have ever had any software released where the stated goals seem to say "safer, more secure" the bad guys redouble their efforts to hack into said software, and I don't care what it is. And if you go to adds under the settings panel you can opt out of the interest based adds. I have it set so I never see any adds unless their in a post .
I never see them at all. I used ABP to wipe the right side of this page off the map...didn't need the distraction.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Scale-196...es-and-more-/271948617948?hash=item3f516698dc Is not all N scale post war? And what a deal on shipping.
Har har har. The laugh is on whoever posted "Scratchbuilder's Treasure Trove" a few days ago. I heard about it here, sounded like junk - - - but the kind of junk I enjoy. Won it with one bid and it arrived today, and it genuinely was a treasure trove of miscellaneous building parts. Some of them fit the projects I am working on today! -the size and style doors I needed, window air conditioners... Pieces that look like Tomix (I've never had any Tomix kits but recognize them from ads.) Will be interesting. All the walls, roof, etc. needed to make a complete Heljan/Concor theater that my close friend needs or his small town main street. (Not the complete kit but enough, and with parts from OTHER kits, can make a model a little different from what everybody else has.) Old-timey masonry commercial buildings... industrial buildings. One will be perfect for the office/ dump house of my terminal grain elevator. And much much more. Will take days and day to figure out what it all is, and more important, CAN be.
Good score for ya ^5 And to think...if he had spred them out a little more on the bed and taken some clearer pics....he might have had a bidding war on his hands with a few others who might have been interested....lololol
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachmann-N-...T-Rare-Find-/161786771840?hash=item25ab3e3980 Rare kit, Maybe I should take apart any N scale i am selling and sell it all as kits and call it rare and list it for double it's value.
Definitely the wrong category. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Built-Sphinx-for-Theater-/121714905677?hash=item1c56c6124d If only Spinal Tap had learned of this, perhaps they would have avoided that unfortunate Stonehenge Incident.
A legitimate Honesty in Listing Award: http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-scale-Caboose-junk-kit-/252045248736?hash=item3aaf1148e0
Alright, I've had enough! What's with all the stickers on this guys' listings? I'm sure you all have seen these. I don't get it. It's obvious it's a piece of junk. What does he hope to hide with all of the stickers? And how would any potential buyer be able to judge the condition of the item when they can't even see it? And that's not even referring to the bluriness of the image.
Oh, for $#@& Sake! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Trainworx-N...okey-Bandit-/131570755274?hash=item1ea23a66ca
LMAO!!! Ya had to know it was coming.... Limited run and the 'investors' bought em all up as fast as they could...LOL Trainworx needs to make another run...at the original selling price BTW...and bury them guys with all those trucks they bought on speculation...sheshhhhhhhhhh
It's not a slipped decimal point... to the seller's credit, the bidding started at $1.00. 32 bids, 11 "highly motivated buyers." The net of it is that some serious money was left on the table by Trainworx, but who could have guessed?
