    Ken, I found many LaSalle photos that have the narrow vertical grill, but none with the same rectangular grills on either side. The '39 had large triangular side grills. Before 1939, the side grills were more square, some with three widely spaced bars rather than smaller gratings like the center grill. Dunno....:(

    I drive a Ford. It's a 1985 Crown Victoria Stationwagon. Had it twenty six years. Built FORD Tough. Now has 257K miles on nit and still looks like new. 368820882.jpg
