I think I had a TYCO Midnight Special shark....but that was a LONG time ago. I got my first train set (electric) on Christmas 1972, a TYCO Long Hauler, GP20 (UP), several cars & Caboose. I also got a little 0-4-0 Santa Fe switcher with a slope back tender. Shag carpet is NOT good for Steam locos....

JimJ, your "random" photos are beautiful. You do excellent modeling, besides having a fantastic eye for photo composition.

Jim, I love your random fun shots. They harken back to a kinder, gentler era... even if life was harder, it was a lot simpler.

Good stuff everyone, here is another contribution.

Was at the club yesterday and took a few pictures while I was there of my PC SD45 and SD40 on a manifest.

I'm liking these night scenes. Makes me want to add a few lights to my layout. I would need very dim yellow lights to simulate lanterns and kerosene lamps because electricity was scarce in the backwoods and hollers of Southeast Missouri 1915-1925.

Some friends told me about their attitude toward Indian bikes so I made a sign. Thanks for noticing

" Candy, love the sign for Indian owners...captures an era right there! "

That was suggested by a friend. I made it on my computer

Man sakes alive. Those clouds look real and so does the horizon. Outstanding!
