Be sure to read your Trainworx News email Monday morning to find out what the next release of new trucks and trailers will be. Carter
Whatever they are, they've got my business. If it's 53' trailers, I'll be getting divorced. I mean a bunch...
Guilty as charged. However, the pre-order deadline will be August 31, 2015 (same as the 379 Pete "Bull Haulers") and I wanted to make sure no one missed this announcement! Carter

These rigs are nicely detailed, very expensive, IMHO, for an N scale item, I suppose because of the many hand applied detail parts. Having expressed my opinion, I will say that if the tractors and trailers were offered separately I would be in for some. If they don't make enough with each run, we will be waiting and waiting to possibly get any of them. They need to re-think their marketing strategy. In fact, maybe they need to re-think about making only vehicles. Who is their competition for modern era vehicles, other than 3D printed items ? ? ? Carl
Wow! Way to come out swinging! I'm ordering 12-18 of the 53' trailers and a few of the tractors to populate my roads and the forthcoming truck stop. Now I don't feel so silly buying all those BLMA spine cars when I didn't know if we'd ever see 53 footers again. Great time to be a modern modeller!
Wow..... Talk about something that has been missing for way too long. So much for being done buying train stuff....... Can't wait for these to show up....
Carl, The tractors and trailers will be available separately. It sounds like many people will be purchasing just a few tractors, but many trailers. Carter
And I'm pretty sure I am right in saying that one of the reasons of the higher msrp is due to the UPS licensing.
I raised the missing 53' trailers with other Manufacturers last year, and it is great to see Pat at Trainworx pick this up. The lack of the 53 footers has had an impact on the 53AP car sales that we have too! Now that there are more 53' trailers available has already had an effect on www.nscalekits.co.uk/gundersonAP53.html - I looking forward to seeing the trailers arrive. When I read this thread yesterday, I thought to myself that I hadn't seen any of the new UPS tractors, either the Kenworth nor the Mack. Then, last night, I get passed by one of the new Macks. Interesting how things work!
Interesting, I just read on an online train store pre order page that the 53' will have the roll up rear door casting.... this opens up a lot of possibilities for grocery chain distribution trucks, Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy (etc) trucks.

Which, while adding to the cost, is still better than UPS' previous policy: No licensing, no models, no nothing, don't try it. Remember Con-Cor's "United Postal Service" trailers?
Thank you sir - just what the Dr ordered! [Sorry still not sorted out the white decals though] Peter Peter Harris N Scale Kits www.nscalekits.com
