Not sure if this is proper box to be expressing my thoughts on the new look. I hope so. I think it will be easier to navigate now, for some. For me, old design was fine that way. I never liked those wooden-block/dowel-like looking engineer/fireman characters with the striped kerchiefs. With this new design I have mixed feelings about the powder blue and pink colors. They are easy on the eyes but not railroadianic, if you will. At same time I'm sure they could be changed if enough members feel the same. I suppose though we'll eventually get used to it... ebay was real easy to click before. Guess I'll locate it eventually anyway.. I'm not very active these days, anyway as I have to move this month and tear down my wonderful HO standard gauge switchback bridge route/branch line based very loosely on the L&N Hagans SB. Most importantly is that Tboard exists, period.
Now I know what Trainboard withdrawal is like... Coffee didn't do it... Chocolate neither... Only trains can satisfy the train craving! Thanks for all the good work, guys!
I too only see original post date must click top of thread page to 'go to first unread' This used to be in our Preferences but I no longer see that. Why would one want to read the entire thread (except for new visitors)
Heck yeah! Here are three recommended choices: Orange and Black, (C&NW)Yellow and Green, Purple Dip. Doug
Jeff - if you click on the blue dot, between the avatar and the thread title, it will take you to the first unread post
Having had the unpleasant task of using an unmodified 8.1 laptop last night, I now have had an apostrophe (The Hook). When I got my 8 laptop, the migraine I got jumping from XP desktop to 8 laptop was unreal. It just that the ne board is so different...find the blue dot, find the re-named railimages (media), find this and that. I'll get used to it. Changing it on my end a LOT helps, like Start8 did on the laptop. It's just new technawlidgie is all, and I am resistant to new stuff. It'll all work out. Dave
Not sure where you mean but clicking on the thread title should take you to the first unread post. Charlie
