Mike you have captured PA in your scenery to such a degree of excellent I can only hope to bring my efforts to a close comparison I have saved all your photos as they are just as good, if not better, than real life representations of PA and its features thanks so much for sharing sincerely Gary
I'm mostly done with this now , although I will probably add a few more trees and a bit of ground cover . Probably some fishermen and a few animals too when I find something I like . Anyway heres a few pics of the finished product .
Looks good Mike! Woodland Scenics makes a few deer that might like a drink from your creek. Sent from the magical mystery box
Reminds me of times spent servicing GP-9's on the Maryland Midland in the 90's! Wow! Don't forget to add some of the ubiquitous black bears digging in the trash!
A different type of progress this weekend . Got rid of the old Sears 4' shop lights . They don't make bulbs for them anymore and mine were starting to go . Replaced them with a track light system . Got a total of 8 cans , 5 of them over the layout and 3 over the work area . I used 5000K bulbs in the shop lights , so I wanted to keep Daylight type bulbs in the new set-up . Got some 9 watt LED floods form Lowes ( damm LED lighting is expensive ! ) and they seem to put out just as much light as the old tube lights . Went from 320 watts in the old system down to 74 watts total . That should keep things cooler this summer !
