What happened to the 'remember me' box in the sign in? Now I have to sign in every time I visit or after every time I post something.
I think it may just be that with the new color scheme it's more difficult to see. Every time I've had to play the password expired game, the box has been there, although I will restate that not as obviously there. PS moved to Support as a more appropriate forum for the topic.
I can see both the old scheme and the new. It's there for me. Same place as always, under the user name entry. If not obvious, try hovering your mouse and it should be easier to spot.
Also... With the stark white background now...I am noticing more eyestrain and headaches. Would be nice to have the background pic back...or at least a somewhat darker background color. JMO...thnxs.
The "Remember Me" box is obvious on my desktop with its 23" wide screen because all the images and icons are spread out. But all images are scrunched together on my Dell Mini's 10" wide screen, so the "Remember Me" is merged with all the multi-colored background images and nearly invisible.
From what I understand, what you see now, (with some possible small tweaks), will likely be the way it is from now on.
I like the white (actually light gray, just like SOO Line!) background. Much less strain on my eyes and easier to read with the added contrast.
I am also noticing that the white background is not as friendly to my eyes. A scientific study once found that BLUE is the most 'eye friendly' color... that is... it created the least eye strain. I don't know why... but... that was the conclusion.
Perhaps an off-white blue tinted background that would satisfy the post 1968 Great Northern and Rock Island fans... not to mention the B&M folks...
Thnxs Ken... I understand and will live with it. I just cant leave TB open on my PC all day like I used to. Unfortunately I also had to set my homepage from TB to another website :-(
I had to switch from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox to improve things in my computer and on my screen. May I suggest? No. Aw come on. Hells bells, I'm going to anyway...col. Move the Internet Trains advertisement down from riding just under the Welcome, My Handle, Profile strip. Let it sit on top of the Forum strip. I hate it when I need to go up there and have to arm wrestle the darn thing just to click on me. Not grinning. Oh and they aren't making any friends by insisting it be up there....if that be what's a happening. Besides, I rather see Wig Wag or Fifer up there.
