Hey Marty, good question and thanks for asking. Sorry that I have been a bad communicator on this.

We have all of the funds that were donated to help with the server change and we are going to do it just as announced. I have been behind due to my wife's health problems which are ongoing. She may have to have surgery so I have put off any big projects for a short time. I don't want to be in the middle of something like a server change if I have to go on a long trip with my wife for something like that.

As soon as this personal crisis passes (which should be within a month or so) we are going forward with that!

Anyone with more questions, feel free to ask.

Charlie, I also have been curious, but didn't want to bug you. I pray your wife's problems can be resolved quickly so your lives can return to a more normal level of chaos.

Thanks Hank. I appreciate that. The doctors in Boston are still trying to figure out just exactly what is wrong with her and what they are going to do about it.

Since there is uncertainty, I don't want to start a project which could need a lot of attention for 3 or 4 days and then not be able to do it. My wife has been referred to another specialist at Harvard Medical School that we have not seen before and when they call we will be going to Boston (we live 6 to 7 hours away), and that could be any day. We don't know whether they will tell us to come tomorrow or if it will be two or three weeks from now.

As soon as we can figure it out we will make decisions and one of them will be when we will be able to move to the new server. When that happens, best case, we will be down a couple of days. Worst case, well, I don't want to think about that.

Health first. Nothing else comes close. Thanks for the update. As to worst case, keep the faith and stick together!

Thanks for the words. We are headed to Boston in about 16 hours for an appointment. :)

I hope for the best for your wife, and for you while negotiating US1 & I-95, especially northern Boston traffic during rush-hour tomorrow. I assume the Down-Easter and T are not a viable alternative....pity.

Hi Charlie, not bugging, just curious.

    More importantly, how's your wife?

    Charlie,
You take care of your wife and not to worry about the server stuff. Her health is paramount for your family and that has to be Job 1 . Mya the Lord bless her with the Doc's finding out what is wrong and the ability to health !
