    One point of Boxcab. (save your points for the end)

    Wednesday night finds us in another state.....
    Clue: there are no straight roads from Frakes to here, but that was a fun travel day. {PS left out of Frakes around 10am}

    Thursday night finds us back in the home ______ had to ride a ferry to cross the state line.
    Clue: this city name is famous by name in two different states. (wow I came up with that by my self)

    For the new people who want in on the fun. All you need to do is post a city name as a guess then I post another clue based on the guess.:cool:

    The ferry clue is sounding familiar. But I cannot place it right now. Argh. I'm pooped from some household plumbing repairs, so will look at a map in the morning- If nobody has guessed it by then.

    I did find a between state ferry, but I feel that it isn't the right one. Hmmm...

    Going off of that though, I do have a thought as to where this is.

    Hammond, Indiana? Where one could find the famous "State Line" interlocking and tower.

    Still have not figured out the ferry aspect.

    Alright so for Clue #3, I'm going to say Terre Haute, IN.

    For Clue #4 it is either Darwin, IL or Hutsonville, IL.

    I found these to be the stops on one Illinois/Indiana ferry service.

    Go South west

    We entered the home state by ferry. You are way to far north and a little to far east.

    Hutsonville is the closest guess, still to far east and a little north to our last stop on Thursday in IL after we crossed by ferry from KY

    Thursday night.
    Clue: this city name is famous by name in two different states. Think history.

    One stop from Wednesday is still wide open.
    Wednesday night finds us in another state..... no longer in KY
    Clue: there are no straight roads from Frakes KY to here, but that was a fun travel day. {PS left out of Frakes around 10am}

    Boxcab earns 1/2 point bringing his total to 1 1/2
    Although the ferry was not an over night stay it now puts you on course with our route into IL from Frakes KY. All that is left is find our Wed night stay east of here and Thur night stay North west of here.

    Yes, I know...

    As for that eastern location, could it be Fulton, KY?

    For the Northwestern one, I would say Lincoln, IL.

    Fulton KY is on the wrong side of the line and to far West think big ship........

    Springfield is close but to far north, the city your looking for is also found in 3 other states.
