Outstanding. I love those early tank cars. I'm glad to see that more attention is being paid to the early era for us modelers of the ancient days of railroading.
My latest tankcar is this. It is not finished yet and needs some more details adding like break pipes, air lines and coupler cut bars.
I like seeing these just to read the company names. Back then there were so many smaller companies. The world had not been gobbled up by massive corporate merger-itis.
What kind of walkways are you looking for? Are you looking for an OEM walkway? I have 4 old DuPont tanks like the one you showed in the pic. If you need one... let me know! JMS
A little STANDARD OIL never hurt anyone.... LaBelle kit, heavily modified into a Union Tank Line, early 1890's variant. The car is painted Socony Red from Tru-Paint, Precision Scale dome, A-Line stirrups, Kadees, Tichy and Grandt Line parts, and Bragdon's powders to weather.
