    Outstanding. I love those early tank cars. I'm glad to see that more attention is being paid to the early era for us modelers of the ancient days of railroading. :)

    It is not finished yet and needs some more details adding like break pipes, air lines and coupler cut bars.

    I like seeing these just to read the company names. Back then there were so many smaller companies. The world had not been gobbled up by massive corporate merger-itis.

    A little STANDARD OIL never hurt anyone....

    LaBelle kit, heavily modified into a Union Tank Line, early 1890's variant. The car is painted Socony Red from Tru-Paint, Precision Scale dome, A-Line stirrups, Kadees, Tichy and Grandt Line parts, and Bragdon's powders to weather.
