    Whoa. There had to be a really hard impact, or shoving continuing long past the point of shoulda stopped....

    WOW.. I was working that night not 50 feet from that spot . After the sun came up we went over to the west yard to take a look. I have a couple pictures of my own. As I remember there were two crews making a shove into the same track from both directions not a simple shove into a standing cut.

    It was a quiet night in the engine house on 3rd trick until then. It was easy to tell something went wrong from the noise.

    Did anyone hear a "D'OH!!!" from the other end of the yard?:uhoh:

    I'm just amazed that they're so neatly stacked. I would expect a bigger mangled mess than that.
