Canceled two channels on my cable saving $20 a month. Ordered two more cars. Works for me. //Ok, I admit it, I had planned to order three all aong but could not justify it. Thanks to Grandure Lady who noticed the xtra channels on the bill and that I never used them and never asked for them.
Wow! I will post an updated total tonight. We haven't had as many orders today but we have had several. Be sure to tell your friends about this one folks. We want to get those numbers up on this car that could have been seen at times in the state of ______________s.
Here's the deal, I am not a collector. I don't have a display case. I don't even have a layout yet. I also am incredibly cheap and don't spend over $10 for a car. That being said, I love this TrainBoard and if it helps I've ordered one and will continue to support the great people and this board.
Thanks very much! We appreciate that. Hopefully, someday these cars will be worth a bit more since there will only be 300 of them.
The problem is the number of states that begin with M and are surrounded by states that end with S. This makes it more difficult for those of us trying to guess! Only Massachusetts begins with M and ends with S... [h=3][/h]
Missouri, Mississippi, Michigan (kind of since Illinois is very close), Massachusetts counts for both letters. Really only Missouri and Mississippi qualify as M states bordered by S states, so I should have clarified my statement a little better. If the states only have to be close rather than actually border then Minnesota and Maine could be included too. ARGH! If I hadn't already chewed my finger nails down thats what I would be busy doing right now... the anticipation is driving me nuts. Oh well.
I must have missed something some where. Where did the idea of the state started with "M" and was surrounded by states that end in "S"? Maybe the statement means We want to get those numbers up on this car that could have been seen at times in the state of REPAIRs. Just remember the TrainBoard car the Mark Watson sent out around the world and the number of times it was in the shop on someones layout.
It was stated earlier that the car could be seen in M____________ , I assumed it was a real life US state, but I guess it doesn't have to be. Speculation is half the fun of this for me. I suppose the M state doesnt have to be adjacent to the S state...
Not to be coy but "morning" isnt a state in any sense of the word. I enjoyed trying to guess, but I can be just as happy sitting back and waiting to find out. I am looking forward to putting this car into operation... assuming the "state" begining with M isnt Motionless (which it very well could be).
Boxcab, You know my preferences as far as modeling goes, how bad am I going to want one of these? (actually I will get one anyway) TOm L Wellington CO.
