The North Carolina Transportation Museum at Spencer, NC. The sight of the Heritage foam fest starting tomorrow... I was able to get off work so I will be attending! Anyone else going to be there?
ANdrew is correct- it's at the Historic Spencer Shops! Of course, the only reason I posted this was because of the upcoming display of all 20 of NS's Heritage sheme diesels. Good luck for all those going, and take lotsa pictures (and share them here!!!!!).
Spencer shops, was there six weeks ago. Good Nscale across the street as well. And the bar b que OMG.
Pictures were taken, only minor sunburn... Would do it again. Pics to follow probably tomorrow. I have shtuff to do today. But Hemi can look on my facebook page and see them.
Crowds were pretty decent. At least 2000 people, probably more. Don't have exact numbers but that is what I have heard. I am going to post a link to my pictures on photobucket instead of trying to go through them all... I took 100 something pics! A buddy of mine photoshopped 4 of my pictures together to create a nice panoramic shot of all the engines on the whisker tracks. I will up load that and post it here.
