Somewhere in some remote island the locals are marveling at shinny toys that showed up and probably offering them to their gods to be sacrificed. :D

I knew we shouldn't have shipped by SeaRails!

...Somehow, I don't think that basic $300 worth of insurance is gonna cover this one...

so history repeats.... back in WWII a shipload of 1:1 steam locomotives didn't make it to Europe...they are still somewhere in the ocean. They where not in a container though..

Actually very good that the shipping company knows all the small detailz of their load!

A few years ago, a show Histories Mysteries (I believe) had an episode on two steam locomotives sitting off the East Cost of the US. What made these two locos so unique was that they are early steam, circa 1830s. I think one was a 2-2-2 and other a 4-2-0. They appear to have fallen off of a ship in transit. It was a pretty cool episode.

Is it me, or are those AZL Mikados keeping the other containers from dropping into the ocean? So AZL is keeping Z afloat?

As well as a batch of 17 Baldwin 2-8-2s shipped to France in 1947 that lie in the bottom of the ocean close to Newfoundland, after their carrier sank in the middle of a severe storm...:ru-wink:

Na...if you look close, the container of Mikes is falling over and pulling the rest of Z with it ) Kidding.

Your switches are shipped in a reefer container? Should we be worried about non-climate controlled layout rooms? (Just kidding).
Any idea where I can find a red warbonnet F7? I like Marklin stuff, but their versions of the F7 are a joke.

Why are the Marklin a joke? I and Hal have 3 Marklin F7s and they perfect and beautiful. They have a warbonnet F7 set that we run all time. It is our favorite.

They are a joke because they were just put on the chassis of a German electric locomotive, the BR 111 (You can see the hole for the screw for use under wire). The Märklin model is on the one hand too long and on the other hand not high enough. If you have an MTL F7, you can easily see the difference.
