I thinking more of S Calif. A wide spot in the narrow valley where the line runs. Looks like a museum type spot, with all of the various switch engines sitting around. What bugs me the most at the moment, is I can't think of the railroad name!! Or end points for searching! But then, I'm probably wrong again.
Three more words: YOU'RE A WINNER! :tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin: This is indeed the shops of the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad in Springdale, AR. Its unique all-Alco roster moves freight from Monett, MO to Ft. Smith, AR, traversing the rugged grade over the Boston Mountains south of Fayetteville, AR. This trackage was originally part of the Frisco's Central Division from Monett to Paris, TX, and was spun off from BN in the 1980s. Recently, Union Pacific locomotives have been used, on unit feed trains from Van Buren to Springdale- they can be found on occasion holding over at the A&M shops.
