Happy New Year, everyone! Looks like a bunch of us made great use of our holiday downtime, so let's get started! RBrodzinsky was out snapping night shots while the Gulf station slept: Timhar47 has been busy with Sonny's Sinclair: The barely audible snick of steel wheels thru Fallon is Mark Dance's soundtrack for the monument erected there: Fishplate has scratchbuilt a model of a Prime PM-720 (?)electronic bell for his Milwaukee units:
I suddenly have a hankerin' for a Taco Supreme after seeing Brian K's recent efforts. Not only does he do professional custom painting, he does structures too: Where's Waldo? Why, at upguy's Denny's of course! oldrk has been working on a refinery: And just for fun, (I don't do this often) Tunnel 26 on my Secret Places Sub got nailed with 12-18" of snow this weekend: See you next week!
Thanks Mike - and I wasn't even all that thrilled with that photo, compared to the close up of the SP Black Widow and freight. (Thanks Hemi, for two weeks in a row) Mark D - that scene is terrific!
Wow! It seems like I'm always a week behind in commenting on these photos. Actually I'm pretty sure I already saw this photo when it was first posted. This time, though, we have a minor error of nomenclature... the summit station on the Columbia and Western grade was Farron, as opposed to Fallon. Still, it is nothing short of an excellent photo, and this has to be one the most unique prototype details to include on a layout that could be found.
