I posted my intensions in the N scale forum, but maybe I should let you guys know. I have a pretty big N Scale collection. Lots of MTL stuff from NIB through used/weathered.

I decided to switch to HO due to failing eyesite. Is there any HO'ers that have been thinking about moving to N scale? If so, this might be a great opertunity for the both of us.

let me know, and we can plunder through each other's stuff.. hehheh

I plan on scaling back my N Scale and go full force HO till my "to do" project list is completed-its not a long list just some projects I neglected over the past few months.

I will be building a small N scale layout in the near future, I have been out of model railroading for a few years now, but I have now found a small space (and been given approval by the better half!!!) to build one, but it is only 3' square with a 6" wide shelf next to it (this will provide a staging yard).

I'm actually in the middle of switching. If you like northern stuff, or have it in N, why don't you send me a PM?

LOL so true my body/eyes aren't compliant anylonger. I have several MT and Atlas Rollingstock pieces(approx30) a few NSC collector cars, three MT Runner Packs, and a few Locos both Kato & Atlas. Not looking to get wealthy just recoup some of the funds to complete my HO layout. And I almost forgot many built up structures. Many of them Brand New like the MT Runner Packs. If your interested PM me your email address and I'll send you pictures of them I am about to do that so I can post pictures in my LHS. Just want them to go to a good home. I recently sold some New Locos in the Trainstore for $50 shipped; and only looking for $5 each for the single Rollingstock pieces.
    Thanks for inquiring.

Holy Moly, at this rate in a month or 2 the n scale forum will be dead and the HO forum will be the happening place.

I am very close to switching over to HO from N as well.
I tell myself to wait till after the New Year before I commit though.

im ready to sell my N scale and change back to ho simply because i find HO scale more reliable with magnetic uncouplers and better quality models in HO, also as i want to model the Australian railways there is alot more available in kits and RTR as n scale pnly has maybe 4 RTR locos and maybe 5 - 10 wagons with virtually no kits available.

I once thought about going to N but decided that time would leave me glad I didn't. That time has come, and I am truly glad I never went smaller, cuz I would have had to purchase all my stuff again.

Actually I've acquired more N scale trains in 5 years than I did in 26 years of HO scale...go figure!

I'm sticking with the N-Track club, but I'm just starting into HO at home.

Looks like I am alone in going to N scale then! but only as space is an issue, as soon as I get my workshop up in the garden I will put an HO scale layout in there and keep the N scale one in the house.

And this was the guy who hollered "NOOOOOOOOO!" when I switched to N some time back. ;)

Funny thing, now due to both funky eyesight and a desire to get back into detailing models (something I never felt comfortable with in N), I'm back solidly in HO.

Long time no see, Matt.......can we expect the Montana Central to rise from the dust in either scale?

The MC will make a rise in both scales :)
The only reason i will be making an N scale layout is because of the size available at the moment, been out of the hobby for awhile now and trying to get caught up on what's a available. just one thing to say on that... Bowser C636!!!

I would do an N-scale layout due to space constraints, but really, I sold the N-scale I had and I never really had the stuff I hate the idea of spending more money to buy something in another scale.

Plus, I belong to a club, so it's not like I don't run my equipment all the time.
