    Thanks for producing these structures in kit form, saves me prying your "ready to place" buildings apart for repainting
    Have just placed order with my LHS

    You're welcome! The truth is they were designed as kits first so that's a natural.

    Silly question here- When did these buildings first come into use? I am trying to dig back in memory, but cannot seem to picture them much before the early to mid-1970s? Too many years have gone by....

    Dave,I'm glad to see those available again..I need one for my scrap tire dealer-they buy old scrap tires and ship them a reclaim manufacting company for processing.

    Armco got into the metal building business in 1929. Sold a lot of these "tin sheds" throughout the 70's thru 2006 while in the construction business. Armco is now a part of the Steelox building systems. There are a LOT of players in the pre-engineered metal building systems.

    Asking, as I am recalling seeing some of these style structures in railroad use such as replacement depots, back in the 1970s, if not slightly earlier.
