Non brass of what? There are 2 more steam I would like to get. 1. 2-8-8-2 Mallet as far as I know it is only brass, so I will never own one. 2. Streamline Hudson #490, It was made in plastic
Nice, as always, Oldrk. How many engines do you have, since you are posting the majority of the pictures here? I have managed to buy 2 C&O engines now in my early stages, a Bachmann 4-8-2, like the one you just posted and a 2-10-4. I will try to add some pictures when the bench is finished and track is laid. Won't be as good as what's on this thread though....
Let me say that its been 45 years in the making to get to this point. I went years in sort of hybernation as far as trains go while the kids were growing and income went that endeavor. Now that the kids are all grown and through college I now have disposable income for my hobby. I probably have around 200 engines in total. My goal is to have every C&O N scale piece of equipment ever mass produced as well every engine and freight car the C&O evr actually had. I believe I now have all the freight and passenger cars as well as engines ever made. That includes fantasy schemes like the new Athearn 2-6-0. And I am trying to kitbashwhat hasnt been made like the 2-8-8-2. I look forward to seeing your equipment as well as your efforts in building and modeling.
I wish they'd bring out a 2-10-4 for N scale. Another one of my favorites... but likely a pipe dream in anything other than brass.
Clever! One of these days I want to pick up one of the LL 0-8-0's but they seem to be rather had to find right now.
The Walthers 0-8-0 switcher. I guess it has some issues. I havent used mine in some time. If memory serves me right there was a first then a second run with the second run much better than the first. Mine is a first run. Atlas 0-8-0
I feel like I am the only one here modeling in HO. Anyway here is another H8 Why not throw in a Hudson?
Just joined and trying to post my first pic. Took one of the newer Bachmann 4-8-4 and added a new tender to it.Haved added any details to it. Curtis
Well I think I am running out of steam photos. I will have to go take some more. This is my not quite favorite loco but it is a good photo anyway. Here it is in a new area.
