Hello every one. I'm Dave and I'm new here and model in N scale. Been in this for about 3 years or so. I built my first layout too big to move and had to give it up. Now I want to buiild another. This time with Atlas code 55 rail. And I'm thinking about DCC. I'm sure I will have lots of questions. I hope I found the right place. :tb-biggrin:

im a relative n00b too and have been welcomed here to TB very warmly! from my short time here ive already found that its such a warm place to be and talk about the hobby (unlike some other hobby forums ive been on)! so from a n00b to a n00b, welcome!
Welcome aboard Dave... You will like it here ! Bunch of great guys. Even in heated discussions I dont think there is any animosity amongst us. I am a simple minded...opinionated old S.O.B....EVEN an antagonist at times. But I CAN still call these guys and gals my friends...LOL. Others may have differing views...but heck with em...lmao ! .

I have to warn you. This website is highly addictive and will require hours of your time. You are going to make friends and they will expect to see pictures of your layout on a regular basis. Any attempt to compete with our finest will only get you praise and at a boys. I don't know. You just might want to reconsider. I guarantee you can't stay away for long and the friends you make here will be real hard to do without. Yep, If I were you, I'd back out of here quickly. Just as I thought...to late. It had to left behind. I just couldn't move it. So it was taken apart. Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully I can contribute a little as I go. And you all are right, I'm addicted already. Adding a few more pics of the old layout and some projects.
