Rob, I just meant that Todd would want his site listed like all the others are but since you are eliminating that feature then it doesn't matter any more.
That's strange, why remove the list, infact AZL should have it in their website. BTW what is AZL's website? Kim
http://www.americanzline.com/ Rob's been a little shy about updating lately. Maybe we should get on him about that........
That's what I call progress: removing an overview where to buy the product.... Just get it updated, it's no rocket science...
The Scheduled, Targeted release was April. Anxious little bugers I am sure we will all know later. Can't buy them anyway until then. With all the classic scheduling, quality control, etc. I am sure they will slip a bit. As long as they are here BY JULY, for NTS, I am happy to wait. By then, should have a Big Boy too ! That was on schedule for April. SuuuWeeet ! .
Even with most of the tooling done we are still testing the USRAs. We will spend the spring tuning the locomotive and should now by NTS when they can be delivered.
I would be overjoyed having to wait several more months if it meant the tender had Kato like electrical pickup trucks!
Guys as far as I remember the tender holds the motor that runs the drivers via a gimbal equipped shaft... So I guess both won't be separable. Dom
You got a deal! Give us a few more months, and we'll get those tender pickups for ya. In fact, we can do a "two for one" and give you pickups in both the tender and the locomotive. Such a deal! Correct. No separate tenders because the motor is in there. We designed lots of weight in the locomotive for traction, but we are waiting on an engineering sample test to see if we need a tire. Best, -Rob(A) AZL
Rob, The excitement continues to build. Will the heavy Mike be released about the same time as the light Mike?
Rob, thanks for being so responsive! Tender pickups kato style is fantastic news! and very welcomed. I can't wait...but a few more months for this, I will. Thanks!
Rob, I will echo the others. I will gladly wait a few months for you to work out all of the details. I'm just excited to have an affordable source for north american steam. Bring on the heavies. Dan S.
Question to Rob Allbritton (and to Hans): is there already a price range determinated, and if yes may it be revealed here, or is the price range still completely unknown to the manufacturer? Dom
