[IMG] Weekend Modeling Photo Challenge "No Subject" Ends Monday, June 14th.

This week we're back with the standard format, so only ONE image per member. Other than that, it's an open topic weekend! :D

*Please read all rules as they may have changed from previous weeks*
If you notice a typo, error, or confusing statement, please notify user Mark Watson immediately for correction and clarification.

Modeling Photo Challenge Topic: "No Subject"
    1. Challenges are open to everyone, have fun!!

    2. The entry deadline is Midnight (UTC -11), Monday, June 14th. Late entries will be accepted up until the official "Time's up!" post within the thread.

    3. For photos to be eligible they must be taken between Friday June 11th and Monday, June 14th.
Please use the challenge as a motive to take a new photographs!

    4. Any posts with images taken before the commencement of the challenge will not be included in the poll and may be moved to the cutting room floor thread.
    - Ensure dates and times on your camera are correct. -

    5. Only one image per participant so please choose the image carefully.

    6. Though realism is popular among voters, it is not required. Any image or snap shot related to the topic is acceptable!

    7. Though not required, commenting on other peoples pictures is encouraged.

    8. Please use the Cutting Room Floor thread for related but ineligible images.

    9. A clever and distinctive title for your image helps identify it among voters. (And makes it easier for me when posting the poll ;) )

    10. *NEW* Photo editing and enhancing is perfectly acceptable and even encouraged, however the subject and focal point must remain that of a physical model.

On June 16th, all entries will be put up for a public vote, in which all members of TrainBoard may vote for their favorite entry(s), regardless of whether you submitted an entry or not. Voting will last 4 days. You may vote for multiple entries. To do this, you must select all entries for which you wish to vote at once, and then click the submit button.

    woops!

The Mogollon Railway's shop foreman confronts a train on a trestle. The train needs to get to the smelter, the Model T will overheat if driven in reverse. Looks like a coin toss is in order.

    Lucky Son of a Bus
Who here wouldn't want to be that bus driver? I think he might have pulled up a bit close, but hey, who can blame him. The passenger who disembarked to take the photo caught the very end of the locomotive (the train is moving kind of slowly but it took a bit to set up) and the very start of the next car.

Lew, you've got some 'splainin' to do!

The big named small volume customer of the GD&R, Cumberland Container Cooperation, is drowning in a sea of containers and Lew got one...

I call this one "The Long Grind". Well into this heavy lift up the Seneca grade, a C&O H-8 2-6-6-6 can't stop for water as the helper engines often do running light back down the grade.

    Sunny river crossing

#3848 drags a freight over a river crossing on a hot, sunny summer afternoon.

Seven great entries so far!! I wonder, is this because of the "No Subject" or the return to the single image limit??

Lets keep those entries coming! :D :D

    Yes... :tb-tongue:

Seriously though, for me, it's more about timing. True, I couldn't have participated in a couple of contests (no passenger stuff, for example), but mostly it's lack of time. This weekend, the weather plus the "No Subject" topic came together at the right time.

Ok we are closed for entries. Since Im on the California Zephyr right now posting the poll may be delayed until tomorrow night but we're sitting here in Denver for a few more so I'll attempt to post the poll from my phone. Cross your fingers. :)
