Sorry for the mishap guys... I'd just want to thank ZFRANK for his latest comments and advices and will follow that thread elsewhere.:tb-wacky::tb-wink: Dom
Just some custom service not any new engine in Z lately. These are for Alex, I think he is running out of patience ---sorry Alex. This is a 1-year-old custom order. I finally got it done. Hien.
Sooner or later I'll have videos up and running once I get some trackwork done. Then you can watch them. :tb-wink:
I am woking on SD70ACe and noticed something I would like to share with the group who is planning to make working headlights for this loco. First, casting resin is soft and fragile, drill the holes and install sun shape provided from the kit will leave a noticeable mark so I used styrene to make my own sun shades For the lights, I used 80 drill bits, then 76 and drill with about a three degree angle. If straight drill will damage and go through the roof. Regards, Hien
Absolutely Totally Awesome!!!!! Hien, Freakin Awesome!!! I have to ask!!! Where did you get the BNSF decals? I wish I had access to my ALPS for I would have made some a long time ago. Also, the orangy yellow stripes. Was that printed using ALPS cartridges? Such a fantastic job!!!! Hobo Tim
she's beautiful. May I ask where you purchased your decals from or are they custom. If so can I contact you for them. I'm looking for BNSF swoosh for a custom sd-40-2 im working on. My airbrush has been acting up so I'm scared to mask the decals.
Usually when a airbrush acts up its because its dirty. Try to soak it in thinner to loosen up dry paint.
Thank you all, Tim and David, decals and yellow stripes from Microscale, many N scale stuffs including decal is suitable and is also usable with Z. Hien.
Alex, your stuff is almost ready, give me a little more time. I have 32 engines for Mike Deberg which need to be shipped in 8 weeks and 50 for N scale convention this June so I am very busy this time. Anyways, I need to finish your order, I don't want to keep them any longer, thank you for your patience and understanding. Hien.
