Digitrax Zephyr stater set, I am now up and running! No underwear or socks, my drawers are overflowing with them. Did get some new jeans to replace the ones that were destroyed in the kitchen remodel. Well, not destroyed per se, holes in the knees are a big thing nowadays. They'll make better cutoffs next summer.
Mom and Dad got me 2 Atlas Conrail 8-40CW's #'s 6150 6155 2 #7 Atlas code 55 turnouts and a 3.5 y . HP netbook with the 8 hr. battery. Ogio Moto X back pack for snowmobiling. My girl friend Kristen painted me a picture of 2 Conrail SD80MAC'S, its so sweet. I bought some hobby tools and weathering chalks. Then I hope to get to most of the 5 train only Hobby shops in Syracuse ,NY to do some shopping
The parents got me a FVM box car with SP lettering. Though, I think they forgot to paint the roof. Everything else, lettering, rivet, etched details is simply gorgeous!
I got myself: 1 x Kato CP AC4400CW 1 x MT 56’ Tank Car CGTX 2 x Atlas Trainman Beer Can Shorty Tank Cars / Canadian General Transport / (CGTX) 4 x Atlas 11,000 Gallon Tank Cars / Dow of Canada / Standard Chemical / (CGTX) 2 x Intermountain Wood Refrigerator Cars / Swift 46 x Intermountain CP Rail Bathtub coal gondolas (Santa needed a little help bringing me my lumps of coal )
Yea, thats the way it's suppost to look. When a real car is painted/repainted, the roof is not masked off so the paint overspray looks just like that. Roofs you see that are all one color were either repaired and painted, or the paint is gone and the weathering starts.
Santa Was Here Only a little bit of train stuff.... Atlas MP15 and decoder to go with it. But that was all I asked for trainwise. Too many projects already funded and not built/installed/finished. NCDaveD
I got a week-long vacation, my wife's casino winnings, and an unsupervised trip to the LHS... :tb-biggrin:
Nice car, everyone laughed till it won everything with that "silly" wing thing. he he I had a toy one as a kid in the late sixties. The picture brought back memories. Thanks
X mas I received a bag of coal. Literally the size of a pillow case. I think some one is trying to tell me something. Inside of it though were atlas #7 turnouts 5x RH and 5x LH and a gift certificate to ye olde LHS The Train Room. Classic Eh?

Okay... since I didn't exactly get new train stuff I went ahead and bought myself a pair of sound-equipped PCM E7's in Milwaukee Road livery. Merry Christmas to me!
I took my Christmas money and bought enough TCS CN-GP and Z2 decoders to get the legacy locomotives in my fleet converted over to DCC.
