From the S&R Models Website: August 2009 - Please Note.... All Pending S&R MODELS' projects have been put on HOLD, until further notice, while we attend to some major health issues. In early March, I - [Steven] had a Heart Attack, at age 49. On March 10th I had quad open heart bypass surgery. I am recovering well. On March 16th, Rene was diagnosed with Stage four breast cancer at age 47. After 6 weeks in the hospitals, a couple of surgeries to mend cancer damaged vertabra and hip bones, and radiation treatment, she is in the process of Chemo treatments and working towards rehab and learning to walk again. We have both been shocked by these sudden health issues, to two 'normally' healthy people. So, please understand that all S&R Projects have been put on hold. I am scaling back the website to be more manageable. THANK YOU for 25 Great years of friendships and the opportunity to add some unique variety to N scale modeling. **There are still a few Special Run projects in the pipeline for 2010. And, our other N scale interest continue to operate (Greenlight Intermodal & The N Scale Intermodal Store). God Bless. Steven

I saw your post on your website or another forum a couple of weeks ago. I was to upset to respond. As you know,I'm having my own problems, & to see you & your wife getting hit, barthered me. I hope & pray for the best for you, your wife & your supportting family & friends.

Wow! That's the same age as me. No wonder my dad has been nagging me... Steven, I still remember meeting you and Rene in Orlando in '97 (?). That seems so long ago. I wish you the best recovery possible! And may God bless you two, too. We will keep you in our prayers. Terry
