    Mike, super shots. I agree with Fitz, you've done more to publicize
    Verde Canyon RR in these shots than almost any other way to do it.

    As a Santa Fe fan, this is the first time I've ever seen this ex-Santa Fe
    branchline - the scenery is great.

    Thx again for the super journalistic railfan reporting and pics. :)

    It's A Beautiful, Fun Trip

    It's been several years now since we rode through the canyon but I have lots of beautiful pictures taken on that trip.
    This isn't one unless you count the engine.

    Too much space between the front truck and fuel tank, and thus between the first porthole and first louver. FP7s. Could be ex-SP.
    GP7: large louvers below cab, two sets at rear. And do the small louvers on the short hood signify a steam generator?
