Got some shots of the Goose at Ridgeway...looks like more DEconstruction than REconstruction at this point. The entire passenger compartment has been removed (and is leaning indignantly against the fence).
Well, hopefully they've a plan behind it all. It would be nice to see this artifact restored. Boxcab E50
They have a plan but I wonder if they are running short on funding. In truth, the type of restoration they are attempting should be done in a protected area like a building, rather than in the open where the depredations of the environment only add to continued deterioration. I will try to keep regular updates as the Spring/Summer progress.

Actually these are shots from about a month ago when we went to visit my son and our new grand daughter...hope to get up there today though!
Lack of adequate facilities was my first impression when seeing these pictures. It can be done, but the work takes much longer and actually eventually costs more. Boxcab E50
