Thanks "355". That's a great help. Al Kramer informed me when I requested his permission for photo re-posting that "I ALSO HAVE 12 DIFFERENT USA TRAINS CARS THEY PRODUCED FOR ME EXCLUSIVELY IN QUANTITIES OF ONLY 100 UNITS EACH" but he hasn't forwarded that info as yet. I hope this is on his list. That would help to verify more of what USAT produced as specials. Thanks again, GovB
TrainBoard Logo Change I noticed (if not too late) they changed the TrainBoard logo again. Cool! Change is good. "The only thing worse than standing still in this life is the shovel full of dirt they throw in you face when they think you're dead." GovB Happy Railroading! GovB
BEAVER-HEAD ROUTE BEER REEFER #81-2 Can onyone ID this reefer? It's not on my lists. Does anyone know? Happy Railroading! GovB
I have not seen this one yet, however there were many custom run woodside beer reefer cars, many we need to discover.

Need Help With This One Need help with this one. Not on our list but who knows, may be a "special" or "custom" car. Any takers? I know R1922 is not right but have no other clue. May be in the wrong box. R1922 SP&S (Seattle, Portland & Spokane) #12271 Photo courtesy of ROLL-EZ.COM. Happy Railroading! GovB

USA Trains American Series R1900 Box Cars 04-27-10 The first edition of "USA Trains American Series R1900 Box Cars 04-27-10" in PDF format is available for download. It is 42 pages (16MB) consisting of EMD Trainman's invaluable list for USAT's American Series box cars with full color photos. Not all items are represented with a photo but with your help this can become a complete list. Many thanks to those who contributed to its creation especially EMD Trainman and "A TrainBoard Member". Without them this could not have become a reallity. If you would like a copy of this PDF send me a PM and I'll send you the link to the file. Happy Railroading! How much space do you need to host the registry pages? If its not many many Gigabytes you should be able to get free web space from a lot of places. The key is finding a host that's reliable and has close to 100% uptime.
The label on box for this car says "R-1922 Spokane, Portland & Seattle Box Car". It appears to be in the same typeface USAT used on their early cars.
A_ K_ had quite a number of custom cars made for his personal RR by USAT. This is one of them. He had extras made which he sold through the store that he had at that time.
2004 Big Train Show Here is a new addition to the growing list of Special Cars, The 2004 Big Train Show. It has really cool graphics. Photos courtesy of ailron09 on eBay.com. Happy Railroading! GovB
Does anyone know which car the R1933 was? It doesn't seem to be in the registry, at least I can't find it since one can't do a search. Here is a picture of the box label - trouble is that the car in the box is listed as R1922 in the registry. http://1stclass.mylargescale.com/krs/USAT 1933 label.jpg
Thanks. And thanks to all who helped. I will have the 1st Edition PDF for USAT Series 1600 Woodside Reefers soon. The only thing slowing me down are the large number of Prototype paint jobs showing up on eBay the last couple of weeks. I also have an update to the USAT 1900 Box Car Series in the wings but has been slow for the same reason. Happy Railroading!, GovB
OOhhhh GovB, I can't wait for this next PDF file and the update. This wondeful addition of the USA Trains registry could not have been possible without you. I really think this USA Trains registry is important history and now that it's being documented, no one will have to research the USA Trains history over and over again. It will be saved for future collectors and generations of USA Trains collectors. GovB I have a HUGE collection of r1600 pictures if you need any don't hesitate to pm me and I will send them to your e-ail address.
