Both state in the writeup "Custom painted with Micro-Scale decals& G.N. Freight book info.". Look like factory units to me.....somebody will buy them.
Did a good job. I blew the photos up earlier, can't see any decal lines. Usually you can see one or two, but they're pretty good.
I'd take it at face value that they're both custom painted with MS decals. In fact, #27064 is the number right on the decal sheet. Jason
WOW! This only touched the track once to be photographed! Before that though, it was dropped on the floor which smashed the one side in! LOL http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-scale-MIC...057477?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item53f7b40c05
No, it is brand new. Part of microtrains new Rail Accident line of cars. All come pre damaged right from the factory.....looks like they were on that runaway train or just jumped the track.
Here's another bridge. My favorite parts are 'I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT AN N SCALE TRAIN CAN ACTUALLY RUN THROUGH THIS ON A TRACK' and 'THE CARDBOARD ROAD THAT WAS TAPED DOWN IS COMING UP, BUT OTHERWISE IT LOOKS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION'...only $75 http://www.ebay.com/itm/190824251960?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Too bad he only has one......lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/RETIRED-Cla...364215?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item232a3afcb7
Careful. He's probably on this forum. Had a guy in another thread bring cameras into the discussion. The seller has "photography" in his account name.......
You guys are scaring me outta trying the 'bay. I have a friend that makes a lot of her own costumes and she buys things like wigs and stuff on their site. She's had a few issues, including buying wigs and accessories that were misrepresented. Imagine her shock when she found several sellers using photos of her dressed in her own costumes to sell similar clothing!
Re: "custom painted" Atlas D&H box car. If you want the car, grab it now. At a train show on Saturday, a dealer had the same car for $30.00. When asked why so high, his answer was that it was a classic and over 40 years old, an original release of the first n scale cars from Atlas. His prices on other cars were as high. So, it is not just e-*** that is a problem. It is people that do not know what items are actually worth. Many people believe that if it is OLD, it is valuable.
Saw this in N scale ebay. seems a bit out of place. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAROUSEL-28...239620?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item35c66c1884
